Job Description

The Grade 1 Teacher is responsible for providing a structured, engaging, and standards-based learning environment for all classroom students. This includes developing and implementing lesson plans that adhere to state curriculum frameworks and district guidelines, assessing student progress, fostering a positive classroom culture, and collaborating with colleagues, parents, and the community to support student success and well-being.

• Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or a related field from an accredited college or university. Master's degree preferred.
• Massachusetts Educator’s License in Elementary 1-6, required
• Experience working with students with disabilities.
• Demonstrated commitment to creating an inclusive and equitable learning environment.
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Status: 32.5 Hours Weekly
• Salary:
  Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications, in accordance with the Gloucester Public Schools Teacher’s salary schedule. Salary Range - $60,150.00 - $.
