Title
Electronic Tech 2nd and 4th Shift
LocationGloucester, MA (100% onsite)

Salary Range$30-40/HR on W2 benefits; rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Shifts2nd shift 3:45pm-2:15am (Mon-Friday)
Fourth Shift Friday-Sunday 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Responsibilities- Perform routine to moderately complex electro‑mechanical technical functions and activities such as design, test, checkout, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting, and assembly of electronics and electro‑mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, prototype models, specialized test equipment, tools, and test fixtures.
- Test and troubleshoot system‑level and component‑level problems in electrical and mechanical systems and sub‑systems; may perform new system and NPI installations and field upgrades.
- Work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or plans to perform routine testing and troubleshooting.
- Compile logbooks and test procedures documentation utilizing good writing skills.
- Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and process testing on AMAT platforms to Engineering and Manufacturing documentation and specifications.
- Observe all safety standards; maintain a secure, safe, clean, and healthy work environment; attend required health and safety training; follow safety and security policies, procedures, and practices; report accidents, injuries, safety hazards, or emergencies to supervisor or Safety department; use protective equipment when required and use equipment and materials properly; actively strive to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Become familiar with current manufacturing and/or engineering processes, stay informed of any changes in procedures, and assist in the correction of problems.
- Perform rework as a result of testing and generate Quality Notifications.
- Write detailed technical reports and test procedures.
- Competence in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and process testing on VSE platforms.
- Full understanding of company’s manufacturing and engineering processes.
- Capable of building equipment from unreleased schematics, assembly drawings, and pictures.
- Experience using hand and powered tools.
- Familiar with electrical test devices, meters, and related equipment.
- Familiar with fiber optic communications.
- Build and fabrication skills.
- Familiar with measuring devices.
