As a Systems Engineer, you’ll design, integrate, and optimize complex systems that drive the semiconductor industry forward. Your expertise in systems thinking and problem‑solving is essential as you collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop advanced solutions to intricate processes and to write system specifications. You’ll analyze requirements, define system architectures, conduct thorough testing, and ensure seamless integration of subsystems. Additionally, you’ll identify and mitigate risks, confirming that our systems meet the highest quality standards and exceed customer expectations.
Responsibilities- Complete definition and design of complex components, modules, and subsystems.
- Contribute to the system engineering specification within your field of expertise and broaden into other disciplines.
- Ensure designs meet market requirement specifications (MRS).
- Coordinate with project marketing and management to understand subsystem requirements.
- Lead architecture brainstorming meetings and drive the systems process to select a final architecture of a subsystem.
- Conduct detailed engineering analysis of subsystems using extensive knowledge of design concepts and functional requirements across disciplines.
- Assist in creating concepts for architectural design approaches and evaluate architectures to recommend the best solution.
- Build and qualify prototypes of new designs, or procure entire subsystems from outsourced suppliers and test for compliance with detailed specifications.
- Identify and troubleshoot a variety of difficult engineering problems in your field of technical expertise, including serviceability and manufacturability.
- Support system integration during the assembly and final testing of new product designs.
- Perform and coordinate tests against internal and industry‑accepted reliability specifications, making suitable design or operational changes as required.
- Support system engineering projects that involve electrical, mechanical, physics, algorithms, and software design, and understand the underlying system implications.
- Provide remote and onsite support to field support personnel as required.
- Communicate and engage to resolve process engineering issues or concerns.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 4‑7 years of relevant experience.
