Senior Civil Engineer

We are looking for a talented Senior Civil Engineer to join our growing, dynamic consultancy. At Simpson TWS, you will be part of a highly regarded Civil and Structural team in Gloucester, delivering a diverse portfolio of exciting projects across multiple sectors, scales, and materials.

As a client-facing professional, you will build and strengthen relationships with clients, architects, contractors, and key stakeholders, while contributing to business development through proposals, bids, networking, and long‑term client growth.

This is a varied and influential role where you will contribute to business initiatives, innovation, and technical development. As part of a small, agile organisation, we are looking for a proactive, versatile self‑starter eager to make a meaningful impact.

• Degree in civil engineering (or equivalent).
• Ideally you will hold chartered status or be working towards or an incorporated member status with a relevant professional body such as ICE.
• Experience in running the civil engineering design of projects and mentoring junior staff.
• Proficient in civil engineering design software, including Autodesk platforms, PDS, Flow, Civil 3D, and drainage design tools such as Infra/Micro Drainage or equivalent.
• Comprehensive expertise in site levels, drainage systems, and surface design, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
• Strong understanding of environmental impact with a commitment to delivering sustainable solutions.
