Manufacturing Hardware Coordinator
Location: Gloucester, MA
Work Type: 100% Onsite
Shift: Day Shift – 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Contract Type: 18 month contract
Pay Rate: $24.00 to $26.00
Requires knowledge and experience in the relevant technical discipline and continued development of higher level skills. This role supports manufacturing operations by managing internal line‑side hardware systems and driving improvements across processes, flow, and performance. The position involves solving a variety of complex problems, analyzing possible solutions using established procedures, and operating with a moderate level of guidance.
Requirements- Education: Technical Diploma
- Experience: 1–3 years in a manufacturing, technical, or process‑driven environment

- Understanding of key business drivers and operational goals
- Comfortable working independently within established policies and processes
- Manage internal manufacturing line‑side hardware systems to support production operations.
- Lead optimization activities to eliminate waste and improve manufacturing flow.
- Facilitate Lean Six Sigma improvement tools and methods to enhance KPIs.
- Lead Kaizen events, 8D processes, and Green Belt–level initiatives across operations.
- Participate in current and future state assessments using value stream mapping.
- Track action items and manage project timelines for improvement activities.
- Lead cross‑functional teams during improvement initiatives and support stakeholder alignment.
- Solve technical and operational problems using experience, judgment, and precedents.
- Provide informal guidance to new team members when required.
- Support quality and execution of work within established guidelines and processes.
