Position: ELECTRO MECHANICAL ASSEMBLER OR MANUFACTURING TECHNICIAN IN GLOUCESTER

Electrical and Mechanical Assembler / Manufacturing Technician

Location:

Gloucester, MA

Schedule:

  • First Shift – Monday–Thursday 5:30 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Second Shift – Monday–Thursday 3:45 PM to 2:15 AM (10% shift differential)
  • Third Shift – Monday–Thursday 7:30 PM to 6:00 AM (13% shift differential)
  • Fourth Shift – Friday, Saturday, Sunday 5:45 AM to 6:15 PM (11% shift differential)

Pay Rate: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour (shift differentials not included).

We are hiring a hands‑on Manufacturing Technician who enjoys building, troubleshooting, and working with cutting‑edge technology in an advanced semiconductor manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities
  • Build, repair, and test electrical, electromechanical, pneumatic, and vacuum assemblies and subassemblies.
  • Work from work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, parts lists, and verbal or written instructions.
  • Perform electromechanical assembly, troubleshooting, and repair while identifying and correcting errors.
  • Use test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps to validate assemblies.
  • Enter production data, labor details, and work progress into computer systems.
  • Receive and audit parts to ensure build readiness; inspect components for defects.
  • Troubleshoot issues and contribute to process improvements.
  • Document completed work clearly and accurately.
Safety & Work Environment
  • Maintain a clean, secure, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all safety, security, and operational procedures.
  • Attend required safety and health training.
  • Properly use PPE, tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Proactively report hazards, incidents, or injuries.
Physical & Environmental Requirements
  • Stand for extended periods, walk, bend, squat, kneel, twist, climb stairs or ladders, and work in tight spaces.
  • Lift and handle components and tools.
  • Operate hand and power tools.
  • Work in environments with moderate to high noise levels.
  • Drive or operate heavy machinery, including forklifts.
  • Ability to distinguish between colors.
Qualifications
  • Experience in manufacturing, assembly, or production environments.
  • Strong ability to follow technical instructions and schematics.
  • Hands‑on skills with electromechanical assemblies and tools.
  • Comfort in structured, process‑driven environments.
  • Interest or experience within semiconductor or high‑tech manufacturing (highly valued).
