Engineering Technician – 18‑Month Contract to Hire

Salary: $30–$34 per hour
- 2nd Shift: 3:45 PM – 2:15 AM, Monday–Thursday
- 4th Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Friday–Sunday
- Perform HV electrical, high‑vacuum, and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Modify, rebuild modules, conduct calibrations, measure particulates, perform metal testing, and demonstrate equipment.
- Apply analytical and scientific procedures to carry out assigned tasks and complex work.
- Execute mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and process testing on equipment per engineering and manufacturing documentation.
- Assemble, integrate, and calibrate semiconductor capital equipment, including plasma etch platforms and Implanters (high, medium, PLAD) in a clean‑room environment.
- Work autonomously within established procedures, share ideas and information effectively, and use tact and diplomacy with colleagues.
- Adhere to all safety standards and maintain a secure, clean, and healthy work environment.
- Attend required health and safety training and follow safety and security policies, procedures, and practices.
• Associates degree preferred, minimum high‑school diploma.
• 4–7 years of technician training or experience in a high‑technology area.
• 2–3 years of semiconductor experience; VCS training on other VIISta tools is a plus.
• Understanding of electrical circuitry is required.
• Some travel may be required.
