Gloucester, MA Shift: On-site, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM or 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Pay Rate: $23 – $25/hour

We are seeking a Production Assembler to join our team at XP Power. The ideal candidate will perform production assembly work involving light electro-mechanical assembly operations of moderately high complexity. Attention to detail is crucial as you will be following manufacturing assembly procedures.

• Perform electro-mechanical assembly of RF generators for use in industrial settings.
• Final configuration of externally produced components to meet customer specifications.
• Manufacture PCBAs, cable assemblies, cable harnesses, and power supplies.
• Undertake fault diagnosis with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Share observations and knowledge with others, including manufacturing engineering, quality, and design teams.
• Align with Health and Safety and 6S Lean principles within the manufacturing department.
• Undertake cross-training and provide training to others in the department.
• Work with limited supervision and follow written and verbal instructions.

• Must have soldering experience; one candidate can have just mechanical assembly experience.
• Knowledge of basic assembly and electro-mechanical assembly functions.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, engineering drawings, and written procedures in English.
• Effective communication skills.
• Proficiency in operating machinery such as soldering irons, power screwdrivers, and various hand tools.

• Candidates will be tested on their soldering skills as part of the interview process.
