CNA- Certified Nursing Assistant

Elmwood Hills Healthcare Center, located in Blackwood, NJ, offers Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) positions for full-time 3‑11 and 11‑7 shifts, including weekends.

Salary: $21.00 – $24.00 per hour.

Job Types: Full-time, weekends (no per diem shifts).

Qualification Requirements: Current Certified Nursing Assistant certification in New Jersey in good standing and completion of a 90‑hour accredited CNA program.

• Assist with patient care and activities of daily living under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse.
• Perform basic nursing procedures such as taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and assisting with activities of daily living.
• Provide gastric lavage and airway management as needed.
• Assist patients with feeding and meal consumption assistance.
• Assist with sterile processing and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure patient needs are met.
• Document patient information accurately and timely using electronic medical record systems such as Cerner and POC point click care.
• Provide specialized care for patients with special needs and dementia.
• Assist with the management of durable medical equipment (DME).

• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation and adherence to protocols.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast‑paced healthcare environment.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic nursing procedures.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems such as Cerner and Point click care.
