Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department

Job Overview

TNAA Total Med RN is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Gloucester, Massachusetts.

• Duration: 8 weeks (36 hours per week)
• Shift: 12 hours, nights
• Employment Type: Travel

• Evaluate, triage, and implement care using correct procedures and physician instructions.
• Perform minor medical operations, advise patients and family on illnesses or injuries, and plan long‑term care needs.
• Document medical history, check for allergies, obtain vital signs, and monitor patients' emotional and physical well‑being.
• Provide basic bedside care.
• Clean and bandage wounds.
• Provide IV therapy.
• Maintain supplies and medical equipment.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.
• Stand, walk, bend, lean, and stoop for long periods; lift up to 20 pounds routinely; may lift patients up to 50 pounds.
• Cope with stress and relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.

• 1-2 years recent acute care experience.
• Certifications:
  
  ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC.
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment.

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
