What You’ll Do

• Provide comprehensive psychiatric care, including evaluations, medication management, crisis intervention, and psychotherapy.
• Treat a broad range of behavioral health and substance use disorders in an integrated outpatient setting.
• Prescribe and manage medications that support recovery, including buprenorphine, naltrexone, and acamprosate.
• Collaborate closely with primary care and behavioral health colleagues to develop coordinated treatment plans.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Location: Blackburn Center (12121 E Burnside St. Portland, OR 97216)

Compensation: $164,000-$213,000/annually
* Range varies based on professional experience and licensure/certifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing and Master’s degree in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing from State Board of Nursing-approved schools of nursing.
• Current license to practice nursing in Oregon and certified as a PMHNP by the Oregon State Board of Nursing and National certification.
• Must have full prescriptive powers in Oregon with a DEA number.
• Practicing as a PMHNP for 3 or more years HIGHLY preferred.
• Must meet CCC privileging requirements as required by FTCA.
• Current BLS certification required prior to start.
• Must meet applicable training requirements for Buprenorphine prescribing.
• Must generally have the ability to walk, bend, stoop, kneel, squat, twist, reach, pull and lift heavy objects, and climb stairs with reasonable or no accommodation.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, TB test, and background check. This includes clearance by the DHS Background Check Unit.
• The OAR prohibits SUDS program staff from having within the previous 3 years a DUI conviction or diversion, a felony conviction, or a conviction under the Uniform Controlled Substances Act.
• Must be able to work within an integrated, multidisciplinary setting.
• Must adhere to agency’s non-discrimination policies.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Work as a member of the Old Town Clinic multi-disciplinary team to deliver comprehensive, client-centered and trauma-informed integrated services.
• Actively participate in the integration of services at Old Town Clinic and identify new opportunities to improve collaboration between and within service and care teams while carefully following information-sharing guidelines.
