Role responsibilities
  • Be accountable for all retail store functions and communicating and implementing the company vision through directing day-to-day activities of the entire store staff.
  • Drive high-performance results in a fast-paced, solutions-based sales environment; optimize customer and employee experience.
  • Mentor the Assistant General Manager and complete trainings; attend weekly sales leadership calls.
  • Motivate the team to deliver excellence in every guest interaction.
  • Build, develop, and mentor your sales team; teach, coach, and follow the sales process with Every Guest Every Time.
  • Attract and retain top-caliber employees; act as a brand advocate for Victra.
  • Provide ongoing sales training and support to exceed sales, retention, quality, and service objectives.
  • Engage in sales strategy development to effectively showcase products and services store-wide.
  • Ensure employees meet monthly success measurements and complete training on time.
  • Develop and implement sales tools and initiatives; maintain store performance through inventory compliance.
  • Engage in business operations including budgeting, forecasting, analyzing, and providing sales reports.
  • Innovate to drive traffic and capitalize on the existing customer base.
  • Own store success and oversee staff work-related needs, leadership, staffing, scheduling, labor controls, marketing, loss prevention, and all store functions.
  • Own guest escalations and provide timely resolutions.
  • Clearly communicate objectives and priorities to team members and provide timely follow-up.
  • Stay up to date with new sales promotions and ensure complete solutions for guests’ current and future needs.

What We Are Looking For

You thrive in a sales environment and enjoy developing and motivating a team. You set high goals, motivate others to achieve them, are open to new ideas, relate well to diverse people, and ensure others can perform at their best.

You Will Need To Have
  • 1–3 years of experience in retail sales; 2 years in a leadership/supervisory role.
  • Management experience in a commissions-based sales environment.
  • Proven track record of achieving challenging team and individual sales goals.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities in a multifaceted environment.
  • Goal setting, performance evaluation, and building a high-performing team.
  • Basic interview skills and enhanced staffing knowledge.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • One or more years of customer service experience, preferably in retail or sales.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak periods (November–December).
  • At least 18 years of age; legally authorized to work in the United States.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to ten pounds.
  • Ability to stand for long periods.
Training Requirements

All General Managers must attend and complete a 4-day New Hire University (NHU) program within 2 weeks of start date and a 3-day General Manager University (SMU) program within 30 days of completing NHU. Online and computer-based training will be required throughout employment.
