Fire Alarm Install / Commissioning Engineer

Salary: £36,000 - £40,000 DOE + overtime + company vehicle OTE - £60k

Full-time | Permanent

We are looking for an experienced Fire Alarm Installation & Commissioning Engineer to join our growing engineering team covering Leeds and surrounding areas.

• Installation of fire alarm systems in commercial and industrial properties
• Commissioning and fault‑finding on fire detection systems
• Testing and inspection of fire alarm equipment
• Completing service reports and certification paperwork
• Working independently and as part of a wider engineering team
• Ensuring all work complies with current fire safety regulations and standards

• Experience installing and commissioning fire alarm systems
• Good knowledge of conventional and addressable systems
• Familiar with manufacturers such as Gent, Advanced, Morley, C‑Tec, Kentec
• Understanding of BS5839 standards
• Full UK driving licence
• ECS/CSCS card preferred
• FIA qualifications beneficial but not essential

• The role will involve travel across the UK depending on project requirements
• Occasional staying away from home will be required
• All accommodation and travel expenses will be covered by the company

• Basic up to £40k depending on experience
