We are currently recruiting for a Testing & Inspection Electrician to join one of the UK’s leading electrical compliance and testing providers.
This is a mobile role offering the opportunity to work across a wide range of commercial projects, supporting both public and private sector clients. With a strong pipeline of work and long-term contracts in place, this role offers stability, variety, and the autonomy of working across your own regional patch.

- 45‑hour working week (includes 30 mins travel each way)
- Regular overtime available (1.5x for weekends, nights, and additional hours)

You’ll be responsible for carrying out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and completing remedial works across commercial environments.
This is a field‑based role where you’ll manage your own workload across multiple sites, ensuring all systems are compliant, safe, and operating efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct EICRs across commercial sites
- Diagnose electrical faults and carry out remedial works
- Complete small installations and minor upgrades as required
- Prepare method statements, risk assessments, and point‑of‑work assessments
- Maintain accurate records and reports using mobile devices
- Liaise with clients to minimise disruption during works
- Work flexibly across shifts, including weekends, nights, and regional travel
- Proven experience in electrical testing and remedial works
- Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic ability
- Experience working in commercial environments
- Good understanding of electrical compliance and safety standards
- Ability to work independently in a mobile role
- Customer‑focused approach
- City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (City & Guilds 2382)
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
- Full UK driving licence
- ECS Gold Card
