Fixed Wire Testing Electrician

Location:

Cheltenham/Gloucester.

Base salary £48,367.80 (OTE up to £77,000). Includes paid travel time, company vehicle, fuel card, testing equipment, and generous holiday entitlement.

Electrical Inspector conducting Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) across a variety of commercial and industrial sites to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

• Conduct thorough EICRs in commercial and industrial settings.
• Identify and report defects, safety hazards, and non‑compliance issues.
• Provide clear, detailed reports with recommendations for corrective actions.
• Keep up to date with BS 7671, IET Wiring Regulations, and industry best practices.
• Communicate findings effectively with clients and offer expert technical advice.
• Ensure safety protocols and company standards are always followed.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical inspection or a related field.
• City & Guilds 2391‑52 (or equivalent) qualification in Inspection and Testing.
• NVQ Level 3 qualification.
• IET BS7671:2018 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
• In‑depth knowledge of BS 7671, IET Wiring Regulations, and other relevant standards and codes.
• Valid UK driving licence.

• Salary range: £48,367.80 base salary; total annual earnings range from £55,000 to £77,000.
• Paid door‑to‑door.
• Annual leave: 22 days plus 8 bank holidays.
