We are hiring a Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic to join our growing, technician-first workshop team in Gloucester

- The Pay: £35,000 – £40,000 per year basic, with a realistic OTE of £40,000+ through premium overtime rates, efficiency bonuses, and productivity rewards.

Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00

Day-to-Day
Working in our Gloucester workshop, you will:
- Carry out routine vehicle servicing
, braking systems, steering, suspension, and transmission repairs. - Use up-to-date diagnostic tools and computerized software to efficiently troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical faults.
- Work alongside Senior Technicians to tackle high-level fault-finding, deep engine work, and safety inspections.
- Deliver high-quality, "first-time fix" results across a wide variety of vehicle makes and models.
- The Credentials: Level 2 or Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification (
NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent preferred). - The
Experience:
Minimum of 18 months of hands‑on workshop experience as a Vehicle Technician
, Car Mechanic
, or Service Technician. - The Mindset: A reliable professional with a strong work ethic, your own tools, and a genuine desire to progress your skills.
- The Basics: A full UK driving licence is essential. Having an active MOT Tester licence is a great bonus!
