Our client is an independently owned solar company, established in 2012 and based in Gloucestershire. They are a privately owned, smaller contractor with a team that takes pride in doing things properly.

Due to an increase in workload they are looking for a skilled electrician to join their growing team in Gloucestershire.

Responsibilities include:

• Installing and commissioning solar PV, battery storage and EV chargers

• Working with premium systems including FoxESS, Tesla Powerwall, Solar Edge and Sun Power
• Full electrical first and second fix
• Inspection, testing and commissioning
• Customer handovers, including monitoring apps and system setup
• Working to BS 7671, MCS requirements
• Working as part of a small, experienced team where your ideas are genuinely valued

• NVQ Level 3 / AM2 qualified electrician (or equivalent)
• Current 18th Edition (BS 7671)
• Full UK driving licence
• Living within approximately 30 minutes of Gloucestershire
• A pride in producing clean, professional installations and leaving sites tidy

Solar experience isn't essential - If you're a great electrician who hasn't worked in solar yet they offer a high level training programme. It is important they have the right person with the right attitude and electrical skills.

• Solar PV experience
• ECS / CSCS card
• 2391 Inspection & Testing

• Circa £38,000 - £45,000 plus package, depending on experience and qualifications
• 28 days' holiday including bank holidays
