Overview
At the Groot Schuylenburg residential care park in Apeldoorn, people with intellectual disability and/or other disabilities live and work in a protected environment. This volunteer position supports a resident named Ronny.

About Ronny
Ronny is a 52‑year‑old resident with a mental disability. He enjoys music, walking, cycling, driving and has a friendly disposition.

Volunteer Responsibilities
Volunteer will accompany Ronny during the weekend or in the evening for activities such as walking, cycling, driving or simply chatting. The volunteer should be able to communicate easily with a resident having a mental disability and be available on flexible dates, especially weekends or evenings.

Qualifications & Requirements

Ability to work with a person who has an intellectual or mental disability.

Good communication skills and willingness to engage in light physical activity.

Availability on weekends or evenings.

Requirement for a Voluntary Disclosure of Criminal Record (VOG) to work with clients.
