Certification in Intellectual Developmental Disabilities or experience with students with multiple disabilities preferred. Will be responsible for students with intensive needs in a self-contained classroom setting using individual instructional strategies and specialized programming. Oversees classroom paraprofessional staff. Responsible for case management, IEP development, consistent communication with parents/guardians, and evaluation. Works with school staff to provide student access to the general setting and typical peers when appropriate, based on individual needs and programming.
Responsible for implementation of the DLM assessment for students in grade 11.
