Toddler Teacher

Summary

Goffstown Creative Kids is looking to hire a qualified Associate or Lead Toddler Teacher. We are looking for a dedicated individual with good work ethics and who loves teaching young children and making a difference in the life of a child.

• Coordinate and implement educational curriculum by developing classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices.
• Lead by example; encourage teaching team success through modeling and coaching.
• Plan individual and group age‑appropriate activities to actively engage children and encourage social, cognitive and emotional growth.
• Maintain frequent communications with parents through informal discussions, progress reports, and parent‑teacher conferences.
• Ensure all center policies and state regulations are met.
• Ensure a healthy classroom environment – including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards and safety and security of children.
• Maintain accurate records, forms and files.
• Maintain a personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.

• 9 credits in ECE with 3 credits in Child Growth & Development, or 3 credits in an education course with 1500 hours of work experience, and plan to continue ECE credits or successfully complete a 2‑year vocational course, or have 18 credits to be considered for a Lead Teacher position.
• CPR & First Aid or willingness to obtain.
