Position OverviewThe Middle School Girls' Volleyball Coach is responsible for supporting the success of the Middle School Girls' Volleyball program. The coach manages day‑to‑day operations and prepares student‑athletes for the next level of their athletic journey. All coaches are required to abide by the rules and regulations of the NFHS, SSYO, and Breck School.
Responsibilities- Foster a positive team culture – model teamwork, trust, inclusivity, respect, and leadership; encourage sportsmanlike conduct at all times.
- Manage and supervise practices and athletic events.
- Work with student athletes to improve their abilities in Middle School Girls' Volleyball.
- Partner with coaching staff to provide unity across all levels and teams.
- Encourage and support multi‑sport athletes within Breck.
- Prior playing or coaching experience in Girls' Volleyball (preferably at the Middle School or High School level).
- Ability to work effectively and positively with adolescent athletes.
- Knowledge of Girls' Volleyball fundamentals and effective coaching techniques and skills for Middle School.
- Experience building and maintaining effective working relationships with school administrators, opponents, staff, parents, and athletes.
- Exhibits professionalism, organizational, communication, delegation, and interpersonal skills.
