Part-Time Infant Assistant Teacher – Golden Valley, MN

Lake Area Discovery Center is seeking a Part‑Time Preschool Assistant Teacher to support the infant classroom at Valley of Peace’s Discovery Center location in Golden Valley
. This role works closely with the Lead Teacher and classroom team to provide a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment for infants 6 weeks‑15 months old.

• Support the Lead Teacher in an infant classroom
• Assist with daily activities and infant care
• Help create a positive, nurturing environment for young children
• Supervise and engage children during play, learning, and care
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom
• Communicate with teaching staff and support classroom planning
• Follow Minnesota DHS licensing guidelines

• Experience working with young children in childcare or early education preferred
• Coursework or training in Early Childhood Education or related field is helpful
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and families
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• $18.00–$22.00 per hour
