Position Overview
Covenant Living, the nation’s sixth-largest nonprofit senior living provider, is seeking qualified candidates for Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) roles across assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory care. The CNA provides direct care to residents, supports daily activities, and assists with light housekeeping, laundry, and dining services.
Responsibilities- Reports directly to the nurse manager and may also respond to direction from licensed nurses or other supervisory staff.
- Provides direct care to residents on a daily basis.
- Assists with activities, light housekeeping, laundry, and dining services.
- Assists residents with basic personal care (e.g., bathing, dressing, dental hygiene, grooming, feeding, transportation/transfer).
- Maintains resident rooms by providing light housekeeping, changing linen, making beds, tidying bedside tables, shelves, closets, and cleaning bathrooms.
- Assists with resident laundry, ensuring clothes are marked, clean, mended, ironed, and put away.
- Notifies supervisor of clothing needs as they occur.
- Prepares residents for meals, assists with serving meals and feeding of residents.
- May be cross-trained in Assisted Living.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Completion and passing of an approved Nursing Assistant program in the state.
- Listed on the State Health Nursing Assistant Registry.
Pay range: $19.13 - $25.43 per hour.
