Position Overview
Registered Nurse (RN) in assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory care environments. Responsible for delivering high‑quality nursing care and supervising nursing personnel.
Responsibilities- Provide routine daily direction and monitor the work of LPNs and nursing assistants on the unit.
- Assist in the orientation of new nursing personnel and reinforce training standards.
- Motivate and support LPNs and CNAs assigned to the unit.
- Explain nursing procedures and provide assistance to staff for ongoing training.
- Communicate regularly with the Director of Nursing regarding assessments, observations, and suggestions of problem areas.
- Observe and evaluate residents’ health, mental, and emotional conditions and communicate significant changes to appropriate staff.
- Notify physicians and family members as required by prescribed procedures.
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
- Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state.
- One year of nursing experience.
- Strong devotion to professional nursing standards and principles.
- Proficiency in assessing problems, planning, and evaluating solutions related to supervising LPNs, nursing assistants, and resident needs.
- Patience, tact, and excellent communication skills (written and verbal, English).
- Compassion for senior adults and individuals with disabilities.
- Good human relations skills and ability to monitor and direct activities of others.
- Availability for work beyond normal hours, including weekends, holidays, and other required shifts.
- Hourly pay range: $36.90 - $51.94.
