Position Overview

The RN Clinical Supervisor oversees the daily clinical operations of our hospice nursing team, ensuring care is patient-centered, compliant, and delivered with excellence. You will coach, support, and elevate the interdisciplinary team while maintaining strong regulatory oversight and quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the hospice care team, helping keep daily workflows organized and efficient
  • Oversee patient intake processes and clinical record accuracy, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and hospice regulations
  • Maintain organized clinical documentation systems, both electronic and paper, so records are complete and accessible
  • Coordinate and optimize patient visit schedules, IDG meetings, and care team communication
  • Serve as a consistent point of connection between patients, families, physicians, and hospice staff
  • Support billing workflows, insurance verification, and documentation required for reimbursement
  • Ensure necessary medical and office supplies are ordered and maintained
  • Assist with ongoing quality initiatives, audits, and special projects that strengthen patient care and team performance
Qualifications
  • Hospice experience required
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of hospice compliance and Medicare Conditions of Participation
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lead with both accountability and compassion
