Sample Processing Technician - Medallion Lab

As a Sample Processing Technician, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of lab testing by executing excellence in sample processing and comminution techniques.

• Follow preparation techniques for processing samples for lab testing, including using grinding mills and other comminution techniques.
• Ensure accurate labeling of sample cups with unique identifiers.
• Record sample preparation techniques and delivery details into LIMS software.
• Split role between sample processing and dishroom lab area, maintaining glassware cleanliness.
• Maintain organizational structure of samples and execute submission requests through third-party labs.
• Follow all lab safety and quality requirements and procedures.

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a lab setting and/or an AS or BS in a science-related field.
• Ability to use multiple computer systems (LIMS, Microsoft Office).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Able to lift 40 pounds and stand for 5-6 hours daily.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.
