Special Education Teacher in Golden

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification/licensure
• Bachelors degree or higher in Special Education or related field
• Prior experience working as a Special Education Teacher

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Adapt general education lessons to meet each students needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families
• Track student progress, maintain accurate records, and prepare required reports
  
  Modify instructional techniques and classroom materials as necessary
• Provide direct instruction and support in academic, behavioral, or life skills areas
• Foster a safe and respectful classroom atmosphere that encourages growth
