- Special Education Teacher supporting ASD & SSN center-based classrooms
- Full-time, 1.0 FTE
- Monday–Friday, 5 days per week
- Starting August 2026 for the entire 2026–2027 school year
About the Role
Hello Special Education Teachers! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Special Education Teacher in Golden, CO to support students in ASD and SSN center-based classrooms. In this role, you’ll provide individualized instruction, develop and implement IEPs, and create a structured, supportive learning environment tailored to students’ unique needs. You’ll collaborate with a supportive school team while receiving support from a therapist-run company.

What You’ll Do
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
- Provide specialized instruction across academic and functional areas
- Support students in a structured, center-based classroom environment
- Implement appropriate behavioral and instructional strategies
- Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families
- Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed
- Maintain accurate progress reports and required documentation
- Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs
What We’re Looking For
- Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) teaching license with a Special Education endorsement
- Strong classroom management and collaboration skills
- Experience working with students with ASD and/or SSN preferred
- School-based experience preferred, but not required
