Job Description

Pro Sidian is seeking an Environmental Scientist | Scientist (ESTS4) | Key Personnel | Subject Matter Expert - Exempt 541611, located within the CONUS region. The role involves providing Environmental Services Solutions related to Energy, Resources, and Industrials sectors, supporting services under the DOE-Wide National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) BPA Services for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE | GFO) | DOE Golden Field Office (GFO) | Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) Technical Support Services for the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Program Office.

This position is part of the Pro Sidian Energy, Infrastructure, and Environment Sector Group, focusing on tailored solutions across Energy, Infrastructure, and Environment sectors to meet global needs and manage resources in a changing environment. The contractor shall provide all necessary personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items.

JOB OVERVIEW

The Environmental Scientist will serve as a Technical Support (Scientist) focusing on Environmental Services Solutions within the Energy, Resources, and Industrials Industry Sector, supporting clients such as the DOE GFO and the EERE Technical Support Services for the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Program located across the CONUS region.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Provide technical support for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) services related to the DOE GFO Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Program, including supporting the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law provisions.
  • Act as a Water Resources Technical Specialist, leading technical sections within environmental documents, providing technical reviews, and ensuring quality assurance in water resource assessments.
  • Collaborate with internal staff and external partners to ensure accuracy and compliance of water resources documentation.
  • Participate in periodic reviews, provide detailed technical analyses, and maintain meticulous documentation practices.
  • Align technical contributions with project objectives while adhering to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental analysis and documentation; substitution with relevant education and experience is possible (Master's with 8 years, Doctorate with 6 years).

  • Expertise in water resources assessment, regulations, and standards.
  • Proficiency in technical writing, review skills, and collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe products.
