Electrical Engineer

Perform an entry-level engineering role in the design or construction aspects of engineering projects and assist other departmental engineers.

• Perform design activities requiring a basic understanding of drawings, calculations, specifications, and industry standards and practices for the assigned work.
• Use a basic knowledge of engineering theory and practices in areas such as Electrical Engineering, Communications Systems, Computer Engineering, and Automation Systems.
• Assist in preparing engineering drawings, calculations, cost estimates, specifications, evaluations, and requisitions.
• Develop professional knowledge in substation design, substation automation, power systems analysis, communications systems, electrical control systems, protective relaying, and transmission systems.
• Learn and apply the company’s design, construction, QA/QC, and safety standards and document control system.
• Maintain complete and accurate record‑keeping and quality control for all work performed.
• Travel may be required to support work.
• Perform other duties as required.

Shall have a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited engineering program or an Associate Degree in Engineering with the appropriate experience at a Designer level.

Salary range: USD $65,000.00 – USD $82,680.00 per year. Compensation is based on experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other factors.
