As the newest member of our team, you will work with stakeholders to bring each project to reality with the highest level of customer service. You are a talented mechanical engineer on the PE track or with a PE, and you desire new challenges and opportunities to grow. This role offers the chance to work with historic restorations and complex design challenges that will take your career to the next level.
Responsibilities- Work side by side with client stakeholders and internal project teams to deliver the best designs for each project.
- Balance multiple project requirements efficiently.
- Coordinate with all project stakeholders—architects, engineers, and clients—consistently and skillfully.
- Provide load calculations and energy analysis on projects.
- Select and schedule equipment.
- Submit weekly project reports, attend the weekly internal status meetings, and provide accurate progress billing information to accounting.
- Issue change requests when required.
- Navigate changes, risks, and other construction challenges to the satisfaction of the contractor and owner.
- BS in Mechanical Engineering and 3+ years of professional experience as an HVAC/plumbing mechanical engineer – EIT preferred; having a PE is a bonus.
- Experience with HVAC in new construction, re‑engineering, and retrofit projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and load software (such as Carrier HAP).
- Ability to hold team members accountable and inspire their best efforts.
- Self‑directed, resourceful, and adaptable, with the capability to convey shifting priorities.
- Excellent communication and time‑management skills, with the ability to set and meet deadlines.
- Outcome‑focused, results‑oriented, and maintaining a positive attitude.
- Special interest in historical restoration projects.
- Salary of $75,000–$100,000 and unmatched professional growth.
