Reliability Manager

We are currently seeking a Reliability Manager to contribute to our mission in a dynamic startup environment.

As a Reliability Manager, you will be responsible for leading the reliability, maintainability, and availability (RMA) effort for the Lunar Terrain Vehicle Services program. Take the #Next Leap with Lunar Outpost and work on the Lunar Terrain Vehicle (LTV), which will carry NASA astronauts farther than they've ever been before on the lunar surface!

• Apply NASA’s reliability standard(NASA-STD-8729.1A) to the Lunar Terrain Vehicle and supporting systems
• Lead reliability analysis to refine reliability allocations at the component and subsystem level and improve reliability predictions for the system
• Work with integrated product teams and safety and mission assurance to conduct FMECA, maintainability analysis, service life analysis, and other reliability analyses and assessments
• Support the verification and validation of reliability-related requirements through the development of verification objectives, test plans, and test procedures
• Develop and maintain reliability documentation, including analysis, reports, and compliance matrices

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or aerospace engineering or related discipline
• 7+ years of experience in RMA or a similar field
• Experience developing probabilistic reliability models
• Demonstrated experience with NASA, DoD, or similar reliability standards
• Experience with the systems engineering lifecycle
• Proficiency in reliability analysis software
• Self‑motivated, focused, and driven to meet critical deadlines
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Experience with Software Reliability
• Previous work on Class A NASA missions
• Experience developing materials for and presenting at design reviews
