Utility Mapping Engineer

Join T2 Utility Engineers in Golden, CO to play an integral role in preparing computer-generated survey drawings, according to established standards and procedures, from field collected data using CAD software.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Prepares and/or revises ORD generated utility mapping plan sets from T2 Utility Engineers Field and Survey collected data using Bentley Micro Station software suits. Completes simple calculations from Engineering staff specific instructions.
• Assists with comparing T2ue field gathered data versus Survey collected data. Candidate can also read and interpret and incorporate record research data from various utility owner's plans and documents.
• Survey experience is a plus but not required.
• Understands and implements the company's ORD procedures and/or Agencies ORD standards for use in plan set creation and deliverables.
• Well organized with outstanding work ethic, works well with a dynamic and highly efficient team.
• Maintains schedules and progress reports for self-performed work.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of high school or technical school training with courses in computer-aided drafting or equivalent experience (Micro Station/ORD)
• All activities will be under the direct supervision of a licensed Surveyor or Project Manager utilizing a variety of software packages including Micro Station/ORD (Open Roads).
• 5 years' experience with the software packages is preferred, but not necessary for an individual able to learn on the job and in a progressive atmosphere
• DOT experience is a plus
