** Job Title
** R&D Engineer I or II - Oxide Ceramics As the R&D Engineer, you will provide engineering support and technical guidance to material, product, and process development programs.
** Roles & Responsibilities:
*** With limited direction, conduct engineering experiments on new materials, products, processes and/or procedures.
* Participate significantly in projects to optimize and improve existing materials, products, processes and/or procedures.
* Contribute to project plan development, execution and reporting activities to support Coors Tek project management activities.
* Devise basic research methods and documents results and procedures.
* Operate process and test equipment with an understanding of functionality based on underlying engineering principles.
* Exercise responsibility for specific pieces of processing and/or analytical equipment.
* Work collaboratively with the Operations and Commercial sectors of the company.
* Participate in the company’s safety culture and continuous improvement efforts.
* Undertake further training to improve skills.

* Education & Experience:

*** Bachelor’s degree in Ceramic Engineering, Materials Science preferred or related Engineering field.
* A minimum of one (1) year of relevant industry experience, which may include internship, co-op, or other applicable hands-on experience.
* Hands on oxide ceramic materials formulation and processing experience highly preferred.
** Functional/Technical Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
*** Sound knowledge of mathematics, statistics, engineering science and ceramic processing.
* Knowledge of ceramic materials and processing.
* Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
* Organized and detail oriented.
** Role Specific Information:
*** LEVEL:
We are open to this role being a level I or II based on the selected candidate's education, experience, technical skills, and overall qualifications.
* COMPENSATION RANGES: EI: $82k - $108k / EII: $92k - $115k

** Annual Salary: USD 82,000.00 - USD Actual compensation is commensurate with experience, skills and education.
