To drive continued growth of our Environment Market, GHD is seeking an Air Quality Technical Lead to be based out of most GHD locations in the US. This is a technical and business development leadership role and will primarily support the regions Environment Market step-up program while representing the region as part of the National Air Quality Practice, including business planning, delivery, and support.

In addition, the position will support growing external industry awareness and strengthening GHD’s reputation as a leader in the industry. Building from strong market and business development knowledge, this role will lead and drive creative ways to help the US EHS and air compliance markets achieve and maintain market leadership. Beyond the US market, this role will collaborate closely with our Technical Services across the Americas to bring the best of GHD to our clients and the market.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in supporting the growth of air compliance practice through technical leadership with focus in the US Central Region of the US, but unrestricted geographically
  • Collaborate with other GHD leaders in the broader Environment Market to grow the air quality and EHS business
  • Collaborate with Americas Technical Service Line leaders in EHS, including air and compliance, to support in growing technical leadership in these practices while driving continued growth in these areas
  • Collaborate across all GHD’s end markets, embodying the One-GHD mindset to the advantage of our clients
  • Contribute to digital transformation and be a change leader
  • Assist in developing business strategies and initiatives to expand air quality and EHSS services to clients
  • Maintain a high profile externally and through membership/attendance in industry organizations, continually increasing contact base
  • Formulate and present proactive, strategic approaches to the proposal development process, which leverage the company's capabilities and value proposition
  • Establish and develop strategic long-term relationships with current clients, new clients and prospective teaming partners
What you will bring to the team
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Environmental Engineering or other applicable degree
  • Minimum 15 years of prior experience in the air quality and EHSS market preferably as in the consulting business
  • Prior Air Modeling experience is required
  • Midstream Oil & Gas industry experience
  • Demonstrated combination of market facing and technical delivery experience
  • Client exposure and/or relationships in the private sector, public sector, and federal sector
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, ability to lead pursuits and projects and interact with key internal and external stakeholders
  • A focus on driving cultural evolution and ways of working to enable a high-performing, agile, and entrepreneurial team
  • Agile self-starter with a proactive, strategic, and creative approach
  • Solid organizational skills with the proven ability to manage multiple priorities at a time
