Job Description & How to Apply Below

At Fix-It 24/7, we deliver world-class HVAC, plumbing, and electrical services across the Denver Metro. Backed by a private equity growth strategy, we’ve scaled rapidly and are continuing to expand.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Accounting Manager who can operate as a true financial leader—owning the numbers, building a strong accounting team, and helping drive strategic decisions at the branch level. This is not a back-office role. This is a seat at the leadership table. You will partner directly with the Corporate Controller owning financial operations for one of our key branches while helping scale systems, processes, and people in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Responsibilities
  • Help oversee all accounting functions including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, and General Ledger
  • Lead consolidated financial systems and reporting, ensuring accurate and timely financial analysis
  • Act as the financial leader for the branch, ensuring strong internal controls, compliance, and risk management
  • Interpret and present financial results to executive leadership (Corporate Controller & CFO)
  • Build, develop, and lead a high-performing accounting team
  • Drive efficiency, process improvement, and automation to support rapid growth
  • Establish and document accounting policies and procedures
  • Oversee the monthly financial close process with accuracy and timeliness
  • Own the General Ledger (GL) and ensure compliance with US GAAP and FASB standards
  • Support annual external audits
  • Contribute to key financial deliverables including:
    • KPI reporting & analysis
    • ROI and business initiative assessments
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Business
  • 3+ years of accounting experience
  • 2+ years leading an accounting team
Required Skills
  • Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Advanced analytical skills with strong business acumen
  • Deep understanding of financial statements, economic analysis, and controls
  • Willingness to complete background and drug screening (per state/federal law)
Preferred Skills
  • Active CPA (preferred)
  • Experience in home services (HVAC, plumbing, electrical)
  • Experience in private equity-backed environments
  • Proven success scaling and developing high-performing teams
Pay and Compensation

Competitive compensation: $120K–$140K + bonus potential

Benefits
  • Paid Time Off (PTO)
  • Sick time
