We’re hiring a Senior Data Engineer to take a lead role in a large-scale Microsoft Fabric implementation that is already live and actively used by the business. This role focuses on building and scaling a modern analytics platform that supports enterprise reporting, analytics, and decision-making.
You’ll work hands-on across Fabric Lakehouse, Warehouse, One Lake, and Direct Lake
, with meaningful platform ownership and direct exposure to senior stakeholders. This is a high-impact role with long-term influence as the platform continues to mature and scale.
- Design and deliver end-to-end data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric
, Spark
, and Azure Data Factory - Build and optimize Lakehouse and Warehouse solutions using Delta Lake
- Implement and evolve Medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold) within One Lake
- Develop scalable ETL/ELT patterns for batch and incremental ingestion
- Tune performance through data modeling, partitioning, file design, and query optimization
- Enable analytics via semantic models and Direct Lake for reporting platforms
- Establish data quality, monitoring, and governance standards
- Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and business stakeholders on data modeling and design
- Provide technical leadership through design reviews and code reviews
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Warehouse, One Lake)
- Solid background in Azure data services (ADF, Synapse or equivalent)
- Advanced Spark (PySpark / Spark SQL) and SQL skills
- Experience with Delta Lake and modern data lake architectures
- Familiarity with analytics tools such as Power BI or similar
- Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Own and shape a real, enterprise-scale Microsoft Fabric platform
- Work in a technically strong team with experienced engineers
- High visibility, real autonomy, and long-term impact
- Clear path for technical growth and architectural influence
