Warehouse Trailer Inspector

Position Description

Immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Warehouse Trailer Inspector to support our Facility at Ryder in Golden, Colorado.

• Hourly Pay: $18.00 to $19.50 per hour
• Schedules:
  Thursday–Monday or Friday–Tuesday, 7:00 am–3:00 pm

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 1–2 years experience in freight coordination, scheduling, or planning
• Excellent time‑management skills and high organization
• Highly proficient in Microsoft programs
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Positive attitude that sets an example for others
• Strong communication and sense of urgency
• Other duties as assigned

Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements.

• Maintain the Welcome Center attendant log of arrivals and departures of commercial and private vehicles
• Check all inbound and outbound seals on vehicles
• Communicate effectively with management on any welcome center issues
• Interact with drivers and visitors in a polite professional manner
• Follow all SOP regarding the checking in and out of freight
• Monitor the CCTV equipment and advise management of any occurrences
• Operate equipment and obtain certification if required by location
• Other duties as assigned
