Starting wage of $20.39/hour with a potential shift differential of 7.5%-20% *.

This Posting Is For Night And Weekend Shifts Including

• Sunday - Thursday; 5:00pm-1:30am

* Positions may be eligible for shift differential if majority of hours fall within the following hours worked. For more information, please contact your recruiter.

• Regular rate applies when work hours fall between 6:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. (no shift differential).
• Second shift differential rate (7.5%) applies when half or more of the scheduled work hours fall between 4:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m.
• Third shift differential rate (14%) applies when half or more of the scheduled work hours fall between 11:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.
• Weekend differential rate (20%) applies when more than half of the scheduled shift hours fall on a weekend shift. Weekend shifts start at 4:00 pm Friday through 6:00 am Monday.

CUSTODIAN I

Minimum Qualifications

• Six months of experience in custodial work or closely-related work. This experience includes but is not limited to sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning restrooms, emptying trash, general dusting and vacuuming within an office/school environment.
• Experience must be substantiated within the Work Experience section of your application. "See Resume" will not be accepted. In addition, part-time work will be prorated.

Preferred Qualifications and Essential Competencies

• Previous relevant experience as a state employee.
• Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and appliances.
• Job knowledge:
  Knowledge of custodial practices and procedures.
• Communication and interpersonal skills:
  Strong communication skills to interact with team members, students, and staff.
• Initiative and accountability:
  Take initiative and work productively with the team to achieve common, collaborative goals.
