Description: Inventory Control Specialist
Hours: 1st shift - 7:00 AM
-3:30 PM - M-F
Pay Rate: $23.00 - $30.00 Depending on experience
Building: KPSM
In person interviews will be expected and we do not pay for relocation or any travel expenses.
ROLEThe Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for the inventory accuracy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Perform daily cycle counts of raw materials and WIP.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and perform root cause analysis to identify and correct variances.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through timely transaction review and reconciliation.
- Support annual physical inventory activities and audit preparation.
- Monitor inventory locations and ensure materials are properly identified, labeled, and stored.
- Issue raw materials to production jobs in accordance with work orders and production schedules.
- Review and validate inventory transactions for accuracy, including receipts, issues, transfers, adjustments, and returns.
- Support kitting activities by ensuring required materials are available and staged for shipping.
- Develop and recommend process enhancements to improve inventory accuracy, material flow, and operational efficiency.
- Work closely with Production, Planning, Purchasing, Engineering, and Quality departments to support operational requirements.
- Office Suite, Facilities management software. Outlook, Teams, Microsoft Excel (Required)
- Manufacturing 2 years (Required)
- Lean Manufacturing/Warehouse environment
- ERP system experience;
Jobboss2 experience a plus - Raw Materials
- Verbal and written communication skills/Interpersonal relationships
- Attention to detail.
- 2-5 years inventory management
