Travel Nurse RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit

Job Overview

Cross Country Nurses is recruiting a travel Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13‑week travel assignment in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at a step‑down unit in Golden, Colorado. The assignment begins 07/06/2026, 36 hours per week, 12‑hour overnight shifts.

• Provide independent nursing care and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards.
• Conduct ongoing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
• Document nursing care in line with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to review and monitor therapy and treatment plans.
• Execute delegated medical functions, refer patients as needed, and utilize available resources.
• Perform health assessment, teaching, counseling, and therapy and treatment planning.
• Promote the organization’s mission, vision, and values and adhere to service behavior standards.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned, including floating to other departments and being on‑call during scheduled shifts.

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice (single‑state or compact).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association).
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (American Heart Association).
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) graduate from an accredited nursing school.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience.
• Preferred:
  Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and previous step‑down or similar experience.
