Director of Nursing​/Nurse – Ambulatory Surgery Center

WSi Healthcare Personnel is currently seeking an experienced perioperative nurse leader for a prestigious Director of Nursing position at a well-established surgery center in Colorado Springs.

Position Overview:

The Director of Nursing will be responsible for overseeing all clinical operations at the surgery center, including staff management and scheduling. We are looking for a dynamic leader with a strong background in the operating room and previous experience in nursing management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and guide clinical operations at the surgery center
• Provide supervision and mentorship to nursing staff
• Efficiently coordinate staff schedules based on patient needs
• Promote a culture of safety, efficiency, and patient-centered care
• Ensure compliance with clinical policies, procedures, and quality standards
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to optimize patient care
• Support regulatory compliance and readiness for surveys
• Assist in the recruitment and retention of clinical staff

Qualifications:

• Active Colorado RN license or eligibility to obtain one
• Prior experience in the operating room is essential
• Demonstrated leadership in nursing management or similar role
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lead and engage staff in day-to-day operations
