Overview

The Concrete Specialist and Customer Liaison will lead efforts to ensure our products consistently meet customer expectations and applicable specifications. This role requires a hands‑on, adaptable professional who takes ownership of customer trials, builds strong relationships with external parties, and is ready to grow with the business. This role will also support the manufacturing operations and inventory/warehouse management of our pilot facility in Golden, Colorado.

Key Responsibilities

Design mix formulations and conduct concrete batching and testing following standard protocols to ensure our product meets customer performance targets.

Provide on‑site support during customer trials to ensure good outcomes and collect actionable feedback.

Collaborate with internal R&D and operations teams to drive continuous product improvement.

Investigate customer concerns promptly, communicating findings and corrective actions clearly to all stakeholders.

Support pilot facility operations as needed.

Embrace a startup mindset: contribute beyond your defined role as the business grows, supporting cross‑functional needs with flexibility and initiative.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of related experience in concrete formulations and testing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to stand for extended periods, travel to job sites, and lift materials up to 50 lbs.

Willingness to complete ACI certification training to fill any experience gaps.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products.

Familiarity with ASTM, AASHTO, and State DOT testing standards and procedures is preferred but not required.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to interpret test data and translate findings into practical recommendations.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to manage external relationships in a customer‑focused manner — including customers, DOT inspectors, and project stakeholders.
