This is a hands-on, floor-present role. They bring technical depth in manufacturing hazards, independent judgment on risk ranking and hazard control, and the ability to communicate effectively with a bilingual workforce.

The EHS Specialist reports to the EHS Manager and serves as the site-level EHS authority within the Fabrication facility.

  • Collect and report on facility-level EHS data (near-misses, inspection counts, training completion status, JHA status) to EHS Manager for management reporting

Incident Response & Investigation

  • Draft incident investigation reports including root cause analysis for EHS Manager review
  • Execute assigned CAPAs within established time frames and validate effectiveness at 30 days
  • Track near-miss and hazard observation reports for the facility; follow up on all reports within 48 hours

ISO 45001 Support

  • Own risk assessment documentation for all Fabrication processes in support of ISO 45001 implementation
  • Maintain worker consultation and participation records for the Fabrication facility
  • Support internal audit activities as directed by EHS Manager
