National Laboratory of the Rockies is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher to lead protection and stability studies for inverter-based resources in low‑inertia grids. You will build EMT models, run large PSCAD simulations, and develop novel control strategies for I ‑dominated systems.
The role requires a recent PhD with strong background in power system protection, relays, HIL testing, and Python, along with experience in PSCAD, PSSE, PSLF, and MATLAB/Simulink.
