The Electrician role at Workman Electric LLC is a full-time, on-site position based in Golden, CO. The Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, fixtures, and equipment in residential and commercial settings, following local and national electrical codes. Daily tasks include reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics, running wiring and conduit, installing panels and devices, and performing system inspections to identify hazards or needed upgrades.

The role also involves diagnosing electrical issues, completing troubleshooting and repairs, and documenting work performed for internal records and customer communication. The Electrician will collaborate with other team members, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and interact professionally with clients and partners.

• Strong foundation in electricity concepts and practical electrical work, including safe handling of electrical systems.
• Experience with maintenance & repair of residential and commercial electrical installations, including routine inspections and corrective work.
• Skilled in troubleshooting electrical issues, identifying root causes, and implementing effective solutions.
• Understanding of electrical engineering principles as they relate to system design, load calculations, and code-compliant installations.
• Current journeyman license (or working toward license), in accordance with Colorado requirements.
• Knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes, plus familiarity with relevant safety regulations and PPE usage.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications, with strong attention to detail.
• Reliable transportation to job sites in and around Golden, CO, and ability to work on-site in varying environmental conditions.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or vocational schooling in electrical work is beneficial.
