Structural Trades I

Our Facilities Management Structural Trades team is seeking a Structural Trades I professional to help maintain and improve campus buildings and facilities. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects while learning from experienced trades professionals and developing skills across multiple maintenance disciplines.
Whether you're looking to build upon your existing construction and maintenance experience or take the next step in your facilities career, this position offers meaningful work, a collaborative team environment, and opportunities for advancement within the Structural Trades organization.
The Structural Trades I position performs routine maintenance, preventive maintenance, repairs, renovations, and improvements to campus facilities. Working independently and under the guidance of supervisors and senior trades staff, the incumbent will complete assigned work orders while ensuring quality workmanship, safety, and excellent customer service.
This position requires a versatile individual who enjoys troubleshooting, learning new skills, and working collaboratively to support the campus community.

- Building maintenance & repair (85%)
- Snow removal & operational support (10%)
- Work order documentation & accountability (5%)

This position works throughout campus facilities in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments. Responsibilities may require lifting, climbing ladders, operating tools and equipment, working in varying weather conditions, and performing physically demanding tasks, including snow removal.
