Electrical Apprentice

Description

Electrical Apprentices works alongside a licensed electrician to assist with the installation of residential electrical systems in new construction, remodels, and replacement projects. This position is designed to provide hands‑on training while developing the technical skills and knowledge required to become a licensed electrician. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety‑conscious, mechanically inclined, and eager to learn the electrical trade.

• Assist licensed electricians with residential electrical installations.
• Help install electrical wiring, outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, ceiling fans, smoke detectors, breakers, and electrical panels.
• Pull wire, drill holes, mount boxes, bend conduit (when applicable), and prepare materials for installation.
• Load, unload, organize, and maintain tools, equipment, and materials needed for each job.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site before, during, and after installations.
• Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and applicable electrical codes.
• Learn proper installation techniques and industry best practices under the direction of a licensed electrician.
• Accurately measure, cut, and prepare materials for installation.
• Assist with testing and verifying completed installations.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and team members while on job sites.
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship.
• Attend company meetings, training sessions, and apprenticeship classes as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Minimum one year of Electrical experience .
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.
• Ability to work in crawl spaces, attics, and confined areas.
• Frequent standing, walking, kneeling, bending, crouching, and reaching.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to safely use basic hand and power tools.
• Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
