About the Work Unit

The purpose of the Training Services Branch is to train members of the Colorado State Patrol. The CSP is designated by Colorado P.O.S.T. (Peace Officer Standards and Training) as an approved Basic Training Academy. In addition to the Academy cadet classes each year, this unit provides continuing education, specialized training, and advanced training to all members of the Colorado State Patrol.
