This position is open only to Colorado state residents at time of submitting your application. The eligible list established with this recruitment may be used to fill other similar positions within the Colorado Department of Public Safety in the next 12 months. This position is not subject to the Hiring Freeze as outlined in Executive Order D 2025 009 due to its critical role in protecting the health, life, and safety of Coloradans.

The Training Services Branch provides training to members of the Colorado State Patrol. The CSP is designated by Colorado P.O.S.T. as an approved Basic Training Academy. In addition to the Academy cadet classes each year, this unit provides continuing education, specialized training, and advanced training to all members of the Colorado State Patrol.
